What we do

Garden & Grounds Maintenance (Core Service)

Keep your outdoor spaces consistently neat, safe and thriving with planned visits and professional horticultural care, including:

  • Lawn mowing (mulch mowing available)
  • Edging and strimming around paths, kerbs, trees and beds
  • Weed control for lawns, beds and hard surfaces (amenity herbicide where appropriate)
  • Shrub bed maintenance and bed “reset” (tidy, weed removal, general improvement)
  • Shrub pruning in line with best horticultural practice
  • Hedge trimming (up to approx. 2.5m) to maintain a clean, uniform appearance
  • Herbaceous perennial cut-back and seasonal gardening tasks
  • Leaf management during autumn
  • Litter picking as part of each visit
  • Hard surface care: weed treatment to kerbs/paving, moss control, and periodic mechanical sweeping (where applicable)

What we typically notice (and fix early)

From experience, many gardens and estates suffer from issues that creep in over time:

  • Weeds disguised as planting in beds
  • Plant dieback and stress
  • Shrubs struggling due to irrigation, feeding or soil conditions
  • Ivy dominating shrubs and beds

We don’t just “cut and go” — we help you stabilise the garden, then improve it gradually with a realistic plan.

Maintenance programmes that fit your site

Regular visits are the key to keeping standards high and enabling incremental improvements over time.

Example: Premium Scheduled Maintenance (Estate-Level)

A structured annual programme can include:

  • Up to 38 visits per year
  • Frequent mowing during the growing season
  • Quarterly edging and defined line work
  • Seasonal pruning and cut-backs
  • Regular weed control and hard-surface treatments
  • Routine litter and leaf management

We’ll recommend a schedule based on:

  • Site size and complexity
  • Presentation standards required
  • Seasonality and planting mix
  • Budget expectations

Let’s discuss your garden or site

A great result starts with a conversation about your expectations and priorities. Typical discussion points include:

  • Your standards and aspirations for the landscape
  • An initial tidy-up (including ivy removal where required)
  • Biodiversity and sustainability options
  • Incremental improvements over time
  • Tree surgery planning (as a separate scope)
